• Safari World commenced its operations on Feb 17, 1988, with a total area of 1,200 rai (approx. 480 acres) for its open zoo and 450 rai( approx. . 180 acres) for its bird park.


• A major renovation to enhance the effectiveness of land use began on April 17, 1988 and its total area developed for the leisure park now consists of an open zoon and a marine park on 500 rai (approx. 200 acres) of land.
• On Feb 1, 1994, Safari World increased its registered capital from 759 mit baht to 1,500 mit baht and changed its name to Safari World Public Company Limited. Later, it was accepted by the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) to become to first and only entertainment park to be listed on Thailand ‘s stock market on Feb 18, 1995
